E-Motion Equine Therapy Ltd was established by Bryony Barraclough who is a Masters level qualified McTimoney Animal Chiropractor specialising in Equine Chiropractic methods. She uses a number of modailities to get the best result: McTimoney Animal Manipulation, Equine Bodywork, Myofascial Release, Masterson Method and Craniosacral techniques. Bryony has a diverse equine background having extensive experience in breeding, training horses and competing in numerous equine disciplins nationally and internationally. These include mounted games, polo, polocross, racing, dressage, eventing, and showjumping. Currently training for her BHSI She is fully aware of the strains and stresses placed upon horses and ponies from those who compete at international level down to the aged family horse. Bryony treats horses both in the UK and abroad including China, Taiwan, Thailand, Holland and France.
I have been lucky enough to have Bryony treat my horses and subsequently treat my clients horses both in the UK, China and Taiwan. I first heard of McTimoney due to my own sports injury and at that time wasn't aware that horses could be treated by this method. I can really see a difference in my horses trainability post treatment. Bryony really emphasises on the straightness, symmetry and suppleness of the horses. As a rider, trainer and owner I think it is an important investment to make sure the horses bodies are in top condition in order to maximise training. It not only prevents injuries but also allows us to see how to improve the weaknesses that present themselves through the horses career. Bryony is a real horse woman. She is a good rider herself with a sympathetic approach. Showing empathy to both horses, riders and owners. "Bryony has been treating my now International dressage horse, Stan, for 3 years. I cannot believe the difference in his way of going since Bryony has been treating him. Stan had a sacroiliac injury in 2017 and we weren't sure that he would be able to ride at the advanced levels, however with Bryonys care and expertise he has gone from strength to strength. For the last two years we have been riding for Great Britain at junior and now young rider level and I believe that without Bryonys help we wouldn't be where we are today!!
